MARIE is the first in the series of illustrations I've created of animals rescued and rehabilitated by Pete’s Mission in Pai, Thailand. Money raised will be shared with the mission to help them continue their work.

This is Marie’s story.

Her mum came to Pete's Mission when she was hit by a car in 2017 and after a few weeks Ryan, the founder of Pete's Mission, noticed she was pregnant. She gave birth to five pups. 2 were still born and 3 lived. Over the following few weeks Marie's brother and sister died. In 2018 her mum "Cat" was adopted.
